Teacher Terms and Conditions

 

Infinite Ki – Canadian Holistic School mission is to offer live holistic and spiritual classes on ZOOM platform (www.zoom.com)

When you sign up to become a teacher at Infinite Ki – Canadian Holistic School, you agree to abide by these Teacher Terms and Conditions.

1. Teacher obligations

As a teacher, you are responsible for all content of your classes. (including manuals, questions, exercises, tests, assignments, resources).

As a teacher you are free to organize the schedule and the length of the course and of the classes.

You warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary licenses, rights, consents, permissions, and authority to teach the courses you enroll in.

• You have the required qualifications, credentials, and expertise (including education, training, knowledge, and skill sets) to teach. 

• If the course you teach contains a theoretical part, you undertake to offer to the students a Manual in pdf format, at the latest the day before the start of the course.

• Your Manual Content will not infringe or misappropriate any third party's intellectual property rights.

• You have to register and purchase on zoom platform the basic plan. 

• You grant Infinite Ki permission to use texts of your Manual Content in connection with offering, delivering, marketing, promoting, and advertising your course.

• You are invited to deliver relevant materials and information about the course in order to promote and advertise it on the Infinite Ki Facebook page, at least every 2-3 days, until the day the class is held.

You warrant that you will not:

• Post or transmit any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, junk mail, spam, or any other form of solicitation (commercial or otherwise) to any student.

• Engage in any activity that would require Infinite Ki to obtain licenses from or pay royalties to any third party, including the need to pay royalties for the public performance of a musical work or sound recording.

• Provide any inappropriate, offensive, racist, hateful, sexist, pornographic, false, misleading or incorrect content or information.

• Interfere with or otherwise prevent other teachers from providing their services or courses at Infinite Ki – Canadian Holistic School..

 

2. Teaching Assistants

Infinite Ki allows you to cooperate with a teacher assistant for courses that you manage. By adding a teaching assistant, you understand that you are authorizing him to take certain actions that affect your courses. Infinite Ki is not able to advise on any questions or mediate any disputes between you and your assistant.

If your assistant has an assigned revenue share, his share will be paid out of your earned revenue share, based on an agreement between you and him.

3. Disclosure of student’s data

Teachers don't have a direct contractual relationship with students, so the only information you'll receive about students is what is provided to you through Infinite Ki registration form. You agree that you will not use the data you receive for any purpose other than providing your services, and that you won't solicit additional personal data or store students' personal data outside Infinite Ki platform.

 

4. Payments

 

4.1. Revenue share

Revenue share is 65% of the class price, less any applicable deductions, such as student refunds. You acknowledge and agree that students have the right to ask a refund up to 48 hours prior to the beginning of class.

If we change this payment rate, we will provide you 30 days notice via email.

 

4.2. Receiving payments

Payment will be made through Interac eTransfer every time after the completion of class.

5. Trademarks

You are required to:

• Use the images of our trademarks that we make available to you, as detailed in any class Zoom meeting.

• Only use our trademarks in connection with the promotion, advertising and sale of your courses or your participation on Infinite Ki.

• Immediately comply if we request that you discontinue use.

You must not:

• Use our trademarks in a misleading or disparaging way;

• Use our trademarks in a way that violates applicable law or in connection with an obscene, indecent, or unlawful topic or material.

 

6. Updating These Terms and Conditions

From time to time, we may update these Terms and Conditions to clarify our practices or to reflect new or different practices (such as when we add new features), and Infinite Ki reserves the right in its sole discretion to modify and/or make changes to these Terms at any time. If we make any material change, we will notify you by email. Modifications will become effective on the day they are posted unless stated otherwise.

Your continued teaching after changes become effective shall mean that you accept those changes. Any revised Terms and Conditions replace all previous Terms and Conditions.
